Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• •"Service" means the Zaytoun Network platform and all products and features offered under it — including search, Unlinked, and any future products.
• •"We", "us", "our" means Zaytoun Network, the operator of the Service.
• •"You", "your" means the person using the Service.
• •"Member" means a registered user with an active account.

2. Use of the service

Different products on the platform work differently — search, for example, is free and available to everyone with no account required, while products like Unlinked require an account to create and publish your own content. Membership provides additional features (wallet, cause-area allocation, community voting) as described on the membership page.

You agree to use the service responsibly. You will not attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise abuse the infrastructure. Automated bulk access (scripts, bots) requires prior written consent.

3. Accounts

You may create an account via Google OAuth, LinkedIn OAuth, or email one-time code. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email address associated with your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@zaytoun.network.

Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out in full what is and is not permitted on this platform. The summary is:

• •Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose
• •Do not attempt to identify, doxx, or harass other users or third parties
• •Do not distribute malware, spam, or malicious content through the platform
• •Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• •Do not impersonate Zaytoun staff, representatives, or other users

The Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these terms by reference. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Intellectual property

Search results are aggregated from third-party sources and belong to their respective creators. Content you create or publish on the platform — for example, your profile and writing on Unlinked — remains yours; you retain ownership, and you grant us only the limited licence needed to host and display it on your behalf. The Zaytoun name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of search results. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@zaytoun.network. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The UK GDPR governs the processing of personal data; the EU GDPR also applies to personal data of EU/EEA residents.
